Beekmann Expertise is frequently requested to report on defects that occur during construction or after which become evident after delivery (e.g. on series-production yachts). The defects include:

• 'pin holes' in the gelcoat, formed during the application of the coating
• discolouration of the gelcoat
• construction faults
• leakages

These defects are recorded, photographed and clearly described in a report. Beekmann Expertise reports can be used in litigation.
