As a purchaser it is essential that you are aware of any defects the boat has, and which maintenance and repairs you can expect after you have purchased the boat. A technical check gives you the clear picture, and the knowledge you need for further negotiation.

Together with you, Guido Beekmann checks the complete boat. A verbal judgement is given directly after the inspection, and a HISWA test report listing all defects and items of special interest is delivered shortly after.

Experience shows that to gain a really good impression of the condition of a boat approximately one day is required for the check, the sea trial and the verbal judgement. For larger boats (above 16 m) often two or more days are necessary to check all equipment and installations. Of course, it is also possible to check only one area of a boat, for example the underwater hull or the engine.
